Yes, we can help but why not help yourself by reading the manual - go to the index and look for SUM and go from there.

satya123,

use the following DFSORT jcl which will give you the desired results
//STEP0100 EXEC PGM=SORT
//SYSOUT   DD SYSOUT=*
//SORTIN   DD *
----+----1----+----2----+----3----+--
RAVI 01 02 03
RAVI 03 06 07
RAVI 04 09 03
SATY 03 04 05
//SORTOUT  DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN    DD *
  SORT FIELDS=(1,4,CH,A)
  SUM FIELDS=(6,2,ZD,9,2,ZD,12,2,ZD)
//*

If you're not familiar with DFSORT and DFSORT's ICETOOL, I'd suggest reading through "z/OS DFSORT: Getting Started". It's an excellent tutorial, with lots of examples, that will show you how to use DFSORT, DFSORT's ICETOOL and DFSORT Symbols. You can access it online, along with all of the other DFSORT books, from:
