ajuatsgp,

If you or anyone else on this board would like some more information from the DFSORT Team on DFSORT vs Syncsort, send me an e-mail offline (yaeger@us.ibm.com). Please put "DFSORT" somewhere in your Subject line to catch my attention.

Hello All,

What are the all the parameters which won't support in DF Sort compare to SYNCSORT. If we have any what is the alternative.
What are all the other things we have to consider while migrating from SYNCSORT to DFSORT.

If you use SYNCSORT then you have access to the SYNCSORT manuals. You have access to the DFSort manuals (via link at top/bottom of this page) so you can can compare for yourself.

If you do not use SYSNCSORT then why the worry - I have not concerned myself with the differences in all 39 years that I have been in IT.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Maybe, but differences are a bit more important when wanting to migrate from one to another.

Duh! Missed the 'migrating' word. But I would suggest that IBM would be keen to provide this information!
