Equivalent to CEM=NO in Filemanager

Postby me00266 » Fri Oct 18, 2013 6:57 pm

Hello all,
I'm doing some migration from FILEAID to FILEMANGER, and I would like to know if there is a way to convert in FILEMANAGER the instruction CEM=NO.
The objective is to COPY all the members of a PDS that are not empty.
The FILEAID intruction is
$$DD=1 COPYALL OUT=0,CEM=NO,RLM=YES

The RLM=YES(Replace list members) I found the equivalent in FILEMANAGER is REPLACE=YES
but, for the CEM= NO (Do not copy empty members), I couldn't find any instruction in FILEMANAGER manual

Any tip ?

Thanks a lot

I did not find anything on a quick look at the help for option 3 but this bit may help:
REXX member selection:,Enter "/" to use the procedure specified in the "Use
Proc:" option above to determine if a member in the input data set should
be copied or not. This option can only be selected if the "Use Proc:"
option is selected. When using the option you will also be required to
specify a default value to be used in the event of the procedure not being
able to determine whether or not a member should be copied. If this field
is left blank, "P" will be assumed. "P" denotes process or copy the member
whilst "D" specifies drop or do not copy the member.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
Regards
Nic
