Query regarding breakpoints in batch xpeditor

Postby gauthamnagpur18 » Wed May 25, 2016 8:47 am

Hi All,

I have query regarding batch xpeditor.

In Online xpeditor, we set breakpoints once and trigger transaction as many times as required.

But in Batch xpeditor, we have to set breakpoint each time we enter. Do we have same convenience of Online xpeditor in batch?

I am just curious, Your thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

And the manual/F1 help says?
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
Regards
Nic

Think about it for a moment. The CICS region comes up and stays up (usually for days -- or weeks -- at a time). EVERY time a batch job starts, that is a brand-new environment that CANNOT inherit any information (such as break points) since the system just established it.
