Xpediter error NO SOURCE LISTING INFORMATION FOUND FOR MODUL

Postby agrant68 » Thu Apr 23, 2009 1:30 am

I first started off by having a error that read 'FILE CONTENT NOT IN FLIST'. I 'lucked' up and solved that issue. Will probably have it again and be lost. Then when executing expeditor the following message was given at the end of the execution 'NO SOURCE LISTING INFORMATION FOUND FOR MODULE'. What is the problem anybody? I have been struggling with setup Xpediter to get to this point for over a month. Never had to setup at a shop before. Normally plug in the program and execute. This has been a terrible experience for me but I love the tool and would really like to get it functioning properly. Thanks for any help.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Are the system support people not able to help? Usually, they set up the environment as some of the work may require permissions that are not given to developers.

For starters, the "regular" compile jcl won't work for expediter. Also, a DDIO file is required. I've never actually used the product, but have helped a few places when they had problems.

If your system support can't help, suggest you open an issue with CA Support.
Hope this helps,

Thank you. I have been working with and IBM person and we seem to be on the right track for figuring things out but it's been a long time in coming because it appears we are both new to the setup of Xpediter before running. I've got the DD IO part in there and things should be running correctly except I'm not sure of the specific part I mentioned and the contents it expects. Thanks for the reply. I will look in to what you suggested with him. Thanks again.

I am new to this forum but as far i know your problem can be resolved with only one point that is yoyu are not passing load libarary to expediter. along with DDIO we should always pass user defined LOADlibarary. so that system can get load module from there and then systemwon't throw error.. i hope it help....

Hello,

Please note the topic has an error with the source rather than the load module. . .
Hope this helps,
