How to re-stage the selectively demoted components ??

Hi ,

Consider the package ABCD000001 is in UAT level with 2 FRZ components.

NAME TYPE STATUS
ABCDE010 SRC ACTIVE
ABCDE535 SRC ACTIVE

i raise request for selective demote of the component(ABCDE535) and changeman team successfully process the request.

but still ABCD000001 is in FRZ status. i am not able to revert and stage the ABCDE535 component again in the same package.
Even F3 option also failed to unfreeze the selectively demoted components.

My doubt is when package is selectively demoted . can we use same package to promote or new package is needed for promotion ??

Depends on local ChangeMan administrative settings. Contact your local admin to see if your local ChangeMan ZMF settings allow the selective unfreeze. Selective unfreeze is allowed in liberal promotion settings.
