CA-7: Application & Job details

Postby nkulkarni » Wed Dec 16, 2015 4:43 pm

Hi,

I'm new to CA-7 scheduler, I've used OPC in the past

I need to know,
1. How to extract application ID when I have the job name and vica versa
2. How to get the status of the job ? i.e. Does a job is in Active or Inactive state

Can anyone please help ?
NK

I assume that you are not the only member of yhe team - ask more experienced team members. Also read the documentation and help screens.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Application ID is a term that is specific to TWS. There is no equivalent in CA7. Jobs are not part of an application in the way that they are in TWS.
