Hello and welcome to the forum,

It is most unclear what you are asking.

which will reduce the time, increase the productivity,
These are activities that would surely benefit an organization, but i do not know how they relate to CA7.

Once we better understand the request/requirement, someone may have a suggestion.

Hello,

Can we automate repetitive tasks? using JGS script
Which repetitive tasks? Many organizations use CA7 to schedule all of their production workload. I am not familiar with "JGS script".

This is a product overview that CA makes available:
http://www.ca.com/files/ProductBriefs/c ... ief_us.pdf

There are more than 10 manuals (including a Primer) available on the CA support site. Suggest you download and review a few of them to get a better understanding of the product.

Hello,

Opening all the lpars'
LPARS aren't typically "opened" or "closed" - i expect you mean something else.

Workin on space abend
What would you like to automate? Usually, a space abend requires some analysis and dependingo on the situation, corrective action is taken.

cancellin the job
This should happen so rarely that there would be no thought of automating.

Suggest you get/download the documentation and put in some study time rather than "groping in the dark". You may want also to spend some time with the scheduling people and the computer operations people to learn how CA7 is currently used on your system.

If you find something in the documentation that is not clear, post what you found and your question about it. Someone may have suggestions when they see the particular item from CA that needs clarification.
