Hello Forum Guy’s,

Need suggestion from all of you.

1. One of the Mainframe job is triggered by dataset. This comes from other system thru Elite.

2. The customer want's to change the mode of transfer instead of Elite to FTP.

3. My question is if the sending end changes from Elite to FTP. Do I need to do any changes to existing job which is triggered by that dataset?

Please clarify my doubt.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

If the job is triggered by the creation of the dataset, the transfer/creation method should not be be an issue.

A test you could run is to create the file from some other job and watch the triggered job . . .
