I did exactly the same, but wild card with lbrary name

'your.ca7.library(*)'

I still don't understand why it should be used. I 'll appreciate your explanation when you have chance and time.

You're welcome :)

It sounds like that when you entered the dataset name without the (*), the system brought up the entire member list so you could choose which members you wanted to search.

This was not a list of members after the search but the complete directory.

Good to hear it is now working - thank you for letting us know..

From the CA-7 Database Maintenance Guide manual, section 10.2:
Scheduled overrides are placed in the execution JCL members. They cannot be used in PROCLIB members since CA-7 does not access those members directly.
