CA-7 report - total of active (running) jobs - is there any?

Postby mmaricato » Wed Jul 14, 2010 8:36 pm

Hi,
I'm trying to generate a report which shows me how many jobs I have in CA-7, but I can't find any report in the CA manuals.
I tried to do an LJOB,JOB=*,LIST=JOB sending the output to a dataset but, the dataset generated is so big I cannot edit (and I need to). I also tried Pro-J but it shows me many duplicate jobs (I have so many cyclic jobs).
Do you have any idea on how to obtain those totals?

Thank you very much!

Hello and welcome to the forum,

You might consider writing the info to dasd, sorting the data discarding the duplicates and then using the file with no duplicates as input to whatever you want to do next.
Hope this helps,
