How an DEADLINE time is defined in the CA-7.

Could any please clarify how an DEADLINE time is defined in for a job in CA-7.

is there any logic behind defining the DEADLINE time...??

From the CA-7 Primer manual Glossary:
deadline start time. See start time.

start time. Deadline start time. The time when a job should start in order for it to be finished by its due-out time. CA-7 calculates this by subtracting the job's lead time from its due-out time.


I recommend you get a copy of this manual and read it. If you don't have one, and your site is authorized to use CA-7, you can download it from the CA web site.
