CA7 Resolve Schedule Command

Postby sentosa » Mon Dec 03, 2012 3:33 pm

Dear All,

Could anyone help to reply my below question,

If I use below command to resolve all schedule for new calendar e.g. 31Dec, my questions are as follows,

RESOLV,TEST=NO,PRINT=YES,OLDYR=*,JOB=*

1.) When the resolve command is executing in CA7,
- Any impact to existing jobs in ready queue, active queue, etc?
- Any impact to existing jobs triggering?
- Any impact for the existing jobs which are already running in the system?

2.) After issued the above command,
- See if it will affect the CA7 Schedule SCAN period or not.
- Please check if the schedule for next day or next year will be effective immediately or not.

Thanks

Have you read the RESOLV command section in the CA-7 Commands Guide manual? From this manual:
Scheduling begins automatically when the first date in the RESOLVed schedule arrives.

Please check if the schedule for next day or next year will be effective immediately or not.

How much are you going to pay us to do this check for you? Why do you not do the check yourself?
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
