IBM has a policy to make it's manuals available online.

Most software manufacturers do not, and posting manuals or links to manuals could end up with all sorts of legal mess for "someone". So we don't. If we do, they get chopped by the Moderators, who know better than we do about this.

It is certainly unfortunate, but take it up with the other software companies...

You can access IBM manuals starting from ...
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/ ... index.html

and the IBM redbooks from
http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/

but You could also search the net Yourself

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
