To hold a job

Postby dhammam » Sun Nov 27, 2016 1:59 am

Hi,
There is a failed job on a particular date and this job runs daily.
If the fix has not been given yet, the same job schedule now,if it will execute we will get Zeke/zebb data differ. To avoid this we are putting the job in hold. But if we miss to put the job in hold, it will also get abend. Is there anything that we can do to get a console alert once a failed job comes in schedule,so that we can immediatelly put the job on hold??
Please give your suggestion....Thanks In advance

My suggestion is that you contact the scheduling workgroup. If you are the scheduling workgroup, I suggest that you read the Zeke documentation.
"You have sat too long for any good you have been doing lately ... Depart, I say; and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!" -- what I say to a junior programmer at least once a day
