I want to trigger a job only when the NDM step is run in the previous job and also the file is completely downloaded. How to set parameters in my new job in order to meet this requirement.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Talk with your scheduling people and have job2 defined to run on the successful completion of job1.

I agree. I couldn't see where the fact that the O/P wants to trigger when the NDM step has run has any real relevance to the setup of the schedule.

Thank you very much for replying........ actual problem is that we need to delete the file soon after it gets downloaded. Actual downloading of the file is independenet of the job which triggers it right? So,my question is how to hold job1 until the actual downloading of the file is complete. Is there any parameter that we can define in the job?

Hello,

actual problem is that we need to delete the file soon after it gets downloaded.
You can set up NDM to delete the file when the transfer completes. . . Will that not do what you want?
