When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

JCL executes programs. SAS is a program, so JCL can execute SAS. The SAS web site has many examples of code, the full documentation for the product (including a manual specifically for z/OS), and access to the support team.
