Finalist and streamweaver query
I have question on streamweaver. i just have the zipcode , not the complete address. Is it possible to extract the state code or name, using just the zipcode, when using streamweaver and Finalist.

Hello and welcome to the forum,
Suggest you contact Pitney Bowes for the info you want.
As this is a small niche product, they will probably have what you want quicker than a forum.
Yours is the only request here for streamweaver or finalist. . .

Stream Weaver, from what I know, is for print processing. Why not just go to Google and use it the decode the zip code? Or go to the Post Office web site and decode the zip code?

Thanks for your reply Robert. Ya. Streamweaver is used of print processing mostly. This requirement of mine is an on going task. So cannot use google to find the state names, all the time. Also there are thousands of accounts with just the zipcode.

Re: Finalist and streamweaver query
In that case, your best bet would be to investigate purchasing a package. A Google search for zip code to state found some conversions very quickly. However, since zip codes are not static you would probably be best using a package -- not to mention there are places with zip codes that are not states (such as the U. S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, military addresses) and your application may need to consider these as well.
