INCONTROL Upgrade

Postby v1gnesh » Mon Mar 26, 2012 2:49 pm

Hi!

I'll be doing an upgrade from 6.2.22 to 7.0.02... for IOA, CTO, CTM, and CTR. Is there any way I can find out the exits that are applied currently?
I found in the manuals that they will be stored in the CUSTEXIT directory, and on installation, they goto the LOADLIB. Problem is, there are many files in CUSTEXIT, and I'm not sure if all of them are applied.

Another doubt is.. in order for CTM to work with LIBRARIAN, the manuals said that I need to install CTMX014L(not sure if that's the exact exit name..). But I'm able to list a CTMX014 too..?? Is there a difference btw these exits or are they the same..? I also read that exits with the 8th character are usually 'roof exits'.. Is that so in this case..???

Thank you.!

You vendor support should be able to provide good answers to these... set out everything nicely and clearly for yourself so you have everything to hand, and get on the telephone...
