Help setting up a virtual machine to host a z/os system

Postby ehrocha » Sun Aug 16, 2009 5:01 am

Hi Folks

I'm running z/VM 5.4 and I'm willing to set up a z/OS partition under VM,
As my knoledge on VM is very limited, does anybody know what steps are needed to create the VM to host the z/OS system ?

Thank You

Hello and welcome to the forum,

This is not typically something assigned to someone without considerable experience. . .

Suggest you contact your IBM rep for guidance.
Hope this helps,

It is purely customer support engineer from IBM to whom you should contact. Rationalisation of LPAR needs within VM needs to be handled by your Vendor(IBM).
