Hey @all

My z/OS loops always with the message: "IKJ56700A ENTER DATA SET NAME".
I can write what I want, but it doesen't change anything...
I'm using the "Quick3270 Freeware Edition" emulator.

What can I do?

Thx for answers.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

(Sorry for my bad english)
Not to worry :) For many people here, English is not thier first language.

I can write what I want, but it doesen't change anything...
What do you want to "change"?

Have you logged onto TSO/ISPF?

What menu option did you then choose?

Maybe it will help if you post what steps you followed to get to this message. When i've seen this, it is usually when i've tried to do a rename. . .

Hello,

There i wanted to start a cobol programm and then the message appeard!
How did you try to "start" the cobol program? Is the code to be worked on or was this an attempt to execute some already compiled code?

When did you enter a userid/password?
