Hi All,

I would like to know if there is any tool where I can create a Sample JCL and Sample COBOL program for a beginner to learn and practice them.
It should also have features of exact return codes.

You need to use 3270 telnet emulation software to logon the mainframe system, such as IBM Personal Communication software.

How to get this software?

Hello,

It should also have features of exact return codes.
I missed this when i originally read your question. I do not understand the question/requirement :?

Suggest you go to the efglobe site (link above from MrSpock), click on the Support Forum link, and then read the topics in both the Mainframe and the Mainframe FAQs parts of that forum. . .

The sysplex name is ADCDPL. This was system number 1 added to the sysplex.
The GRS system id (SYSNAME) is ADCD. The SMF system id (SID) is SYS1.
......
Central Processing Complex (CPC) Information:
CPC SI = 2084.EMUL.HRC.ZZ.000000000008A89F

odd ipl info!

IBM never issued any license to run the ADCD package on hercules

You're welcome :)

Good luck with cobol - someone will be here if there are questions about coding.
