needs clarification for listdsd

hi all,
I got an error while executing the command LISTDSD. The error is listed below
IKJ56712I INVALID KEYWORD, 'dusr001.asmb.pds'
can any one help me to resolve this small problem.

From what you've written so far you have tried to use your datasetname as a command. It is invalid. Why you've done this, don't know. Have a look at your source. Eventually, when exhausting the obvious, if you have no answer, come back again with a bit more detail.

yea i got the correct answer there was a small syntatic error now got rectified.... thanks

LISTDSD is a RACF command. Its syntax is

LISTDSD DATASET(...) ...

I've always found this inconsistent syntax annoying, especially since other RACF commands don't require a keyword for the resource name.

I suspect syamcs got LISTDSD confused with LISTDS, which does work as LISTDS datasetname.
