User id deletion

Postby Antonyraj85 » Mon Apr 11, 2011 8:19 pm

Hi All,

We have old RACF database. It had one user entry which is the owner for most of the user profile and system profile(Verified thru IRRUT100- Cross reference utility). But the user is no more available now. So if we delete the user id ? Does it make any problem on the RACF database. Please help me out.

The word "had" is past tense, which implies the userid has already been deleted.

I, personally, don't know what would happen if you delete the userid. I would not try to delete it. What you can do is remove any security attributes like SPECIAL or OPERATIONS, and suspend the ID, but don't delete it.
