Basic Query on LU

Postby jaggz » Mon Sep 03, 2012 12:07 pm

Hi,

There are some mainframe connection which at bottom of the emulator says "You are connected to the IP and using some LU pools" so it clearly means that there are some LU pools have been defined under *.VTAMLST Libraries under TSOAPPL net id. In some Site I could just see the Moment they are connected to TPX at the bottom we just see that "connected hal.out.com port 23". Does it mean the later one does not uses the LU defined in VTAMLST or it has a different definitions ? Apology in advance if I am not still clear on the above.

Could someone please shed some light on the above.

TPX has definitions in the VTAMLST but they will not be the same as native definitions for terminals.
