Need Suggestions to track the commands entered.

Need Suggestions to track the commands entered.

Postby Viswanathchandru » Wed Jan 30, 2013 8:27 pm

Dear all,

Is there a way to capture/track the commands entered by an Individual. I mean to say is there a way to trace the console commands entered by an individual. I can understand the fact we have log to capture all the commands/activities that we do everyday. But, I just want to see if there is a way to capture the activities. Just like we have the xxxx.spflog.list to track all the ISPF/TSO commands entered by an individual during a session. Hope I'm clear. Please let me know if I need to give more information. Apologize if my thoughts are wrong.

Regards,
Viswa

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

I was able to copy using (IDCAMS REPRO) - Recfm=VA, Lrecl=125, BLKSIZE=129
xxxxxxx.SPFLOG.LIST
xxxxxxx.SPFLOG1.LIST

or

you could do 7.5 in TSO.

if the TS needs an audit trail, the ISPF logs are pretty useless ...
anybody can switch logs and empty/delete the old ones
cheers
