Translation of an LUNAME to a Console Device

Hello all,
When i run a PCOMM session the is designated to be a MSTCONS i define a certain LU name in the link parameters.
Thats LU is supposed to be translated to a console device configured in the IODF.
When i use a certain LU name that i found in my sites documentation, i get an AU that is no defined as one of the console devices in my iodf.
I'd like to find out where the translation from an LU to a console device configured so i can see what LU name i should use.
I didn't manage to find the proper literature on the subject and i couldn't figure it out for myself through the HCD.
Any help would be appreciated,
