2074 console - messages not displayed

Hi,

Our 2074 Console got hanged and we made it up by using the 2074 recovery floppy drive. Now the consoles are coming up but we dont find any Console messages getting displayed. Has anyone undergone this situation and resolved it. If so kindly provide me your suggestions or Hint to overcome this issue.
