Update FTP client

Good day. Did anyone upgrade the FTP client? From version 1.13 to 1.8 and back are not sent to dumps(if you use type e,mode b: without packaging). Is it possible on z/os 1.8 to use FTP from 1.13?

This may -- or may not -- work, as FTP had a number of changes between 1.8 and 1.13. You have two choices, really: copy the FTP load from the 1.13 system to the 1.8 system and test it, or contact IBM and ask them.
