Hi all,
I've spent the better part of two hours looking for a zOS app for android smartphones and came up with nothing.
Am I crazy for even thinking such a thing exists (being impossible due to hardware constraints) or does anyone here know of something like this?
Note: I am talking about a complete virtual machine on an android OS, NOT an 3270 emulator that connects to an existing machine. I am aware of such apps but I need a self-contained app.

Re: zOS on Android
being impossible due to hardware constraints
WHY ?
once upon a time one of the developers of hercules emulator for IBM mainframes
posted pictures of the emulator running on the iPhone
and it was 2012

is it possible to port it now ?
certainly yes, given the proper skills
will it be likely to happen soon?
certainly NOT
the set of skills needed to port application to IOS / ANDROID platforms
is quite different from the set of skills needed to develop on normal PC operating systems
cheers
