RUMBA

Postby Wgimblet » Mon Sep 06, 2010 6:09 pm

We are using RUMBA 2000, I been looking for a way to move data from a spreadsheet into the application. I want to macro the process and assume RUMBA can activate a VBA module that would parse the data then copy the information to buffer. This will allow the RUMBA macro to wait for the proper screens to paste the Data.

Does anyone know if this process is possible or is there a better way to create persistent variables for RUMBA macro automation?
and/or
Any information on how I could possible alter or manipulate the RUMBA macro through a VBA module?

This sounds like an excellent question for the vendor, doesn't it?

I wonder where should I start. Lets see,
I contacted the vendor and they were having some concern about our license, they know we are migrating over to Windows 7 soon and wanted to involve a ton of redtape with our IT department which would eventually get back to me. They did inform me that there is a VBA path but since I was not getting technical support at the moment thats all the information I was able to get.
