We have an immediate need for a senior Mainframe Communications Specialist. You must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience serving as a technical expert on the installation, configuration and support of communications products that run under z/OS operating system including, but not limited to: Communications Server for z/OS, Connect:Direct for MVS, Connect:Direct for Unix, Connect:Direct Secure+ for Unix, Communications Server for AIX, SFTP, and communications packages provided by communication partners/customers; expert in the installation and maintenance of z/OS UNIX System Services (USS) and its HFS/zFS file structures; in-depth understanding of NJE, NETVIEW, VTAM (SNA subarea and SNA APPN), HPR, EE, TCP/IP, TN3270, OSA-E NTA, OSPF, VIPA, HPR, PBR, QoS, IPSec Filters, TLS, and SSL.

This is a one year contract position in New Orleans, LA. Salary is dependent on experience, but we are willing to pay a premium for this hard to find skill set.
