salary package for the mainframe fresher

Hi,

What will be the salary package for the mainframe fresher? Will that package be competing with the other technologies like java or .net?

I am very confused which one to choose as my career ..... as i am trained in mainframe as well as java.....

Hello and welcome to the forum,

If where you are (locale) is similar to where i am, there is no fixed "rule".

Whatever is most in demand will usually pay more. This may be a little bit more or a lot more.

Suggest you consider which you would prefer to do (rather than the starting salary). If you are like most of us, you'll be doing "what you do" for a few decades, so it needs to be something you enjoy.

on technical, i am strong but i am not selecting . upto known i attented colruyt,capgemini,l&t infotech,Tetrasoft. i am not well in communication skills.What i has to do to get job for next openings

i want to learn mainframes course, would u suggest me the best institutes in hyd n chennai.
n the approximate cost for the course

Suggest you search this section for Hyderabad and/or Chennai. Or just look at the next topic.
And the word is 'and' not 'n' - we prefer not to use short-hand unles it is an accepted IT abbreviation e.g. VSAM or TSO
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
