Technical support-Service Desk as a startup job

Will Technical support-Service desk job be counted as an experience for me as system administrator? I wish to get into IT Infrastructure Services/Library

Hello,

This would depend on the organization. Going from the support area into the actual admin area may be possible after considerable learning . . .

If you are interested in this for a long-term goal, suggest you mention this to the support manager.
