Mainframe operations

Hi all,

First off all,thx 4 giving time to my question...

i am having 1 yr experience in a MNC with working knowledge of tools like CA7 and control M.Also i am having brief knowledge of JCL,VSAM,REXX.But as a operator m only working with CA7 and Control M tools.I dont want to stay in operation and interested in JCL and CICS,Application support or more to the technical site of mainframe.

My question is what i should learn to move ahead in my career path also is it early to switch job??????
