Re: getting started in production support
Please elobrate your day to day activities as a production support in your team.
My views:
Production support is a good start for a carreer.
Pros:
1. Job security
2. Criticality is divided like L1, L2 and L3
3. skills like DB2, CICS, MQ and tolls will boost the carreer in the long run.
Cons:
1. 24*7 work
2. After some time say 4-5 years down the line you feel the job is monotomous.
