Does it is true about mainframe

i am 2011 pass out did a course in mainframe and looking for a job

i just goggled about about mainframe what i got is

mainframe is a legacy system ,it was used by big big companies only

In mainframe more than 90 % of the projects are maintenance

very less development projects( that is also not purely development ,we wont start it from scratch)

so the work wont be very challenging to do ,after quite some time u will get bored.

i have a very good programming skills,i like programming

does mainframe is my write choice

please give me some suggestions
