Mainframe Db2 vs LUW

Hi All,

Few things i came to know while browsing.
1. DB2 is the second to Oracle in database market share.
As Gartners report says more than 70% of data still reside on mainframe's then how come DB2 is second in database segment.

2. Among Mainframe DB2 and LUW which one has higher market share :?:

3. Are Mainframe DB2 jobs more in India compared to DB2 LUW jobs :?:

1 - depends on WHAT they are measuring
2 - Depends on HOW you measure
3 - ask your local recruitment agency(s)
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
