hello friends
i have a doubt on copy book
let us take i have 10 programs like p1,p2.....p10 all the programs are using a copy book c1.i got an enhancement request that one field i need to add into the copy book that field going to be used by five programs.will i get any error when i run other five programs which are not using the new field.

It depends how do you add the new field --

1. Are you using some existing FILLER from the copybook?
2. New field will be referenced in other programs or not?
3. Have you added a brand new field, which affects the length of copybook?

From above, which option/s would you choose for? Answers would vary according to your choice/s.
