RM/Cobol Compiler installation

Postby py38 » Tue Jan 18, 2011 6:58 am

I downloaded the RM/Cobol Compiler for Windows. Where's the information for installing and configuring the compiler? Thanks.

This is a mainframe forum not a PC forum.

However, there is a more appropriate place to post - in the PC and Downloads section not in the forum FAQ. If you had read the forum rules you may have posted correctly - I suggest you read them NOW.

Did you try Google to see if there is a support forum for that compiler? What about the site that you downloaded from - did it not have installation instructions? Is there not a Readme, or similar file included in the download? If not then just install it and see what happens. My RM/Cobol compiler was just copied to a directory but it is DOS based.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
