COBOL to JSON

Hello,

We have requirement to convert cobol layout data to JSON format but not through API. I know we can convert COBOL to Json via CICS calls or environment but the requirement here is in the batch process. We have the data layout and we are trying to convert into json format(we have the requested json layout already).

Any inbuilt commands or any other process which is feasible, is appreciated.
