PEGA to IMS transaction - IMS queue

Hi,
We have a pega application calling IMS transaction in the back end. Lets say the name of the transaction is ABC. Everyday we have 4,000,000 request to this 'ABC' transaction because of this we have transaction queuing and performance is getting impacted. This happens mainly when we have lot of load in the IMS regions during peak time(could be batch process using IMS resources) and not all the time.

Any help or suggestion to improve the performance will help a lot?
