Hello,

If you run a compile on your system, the output will tell you which version of the the compiler you are using. It will probably be near/at the top of the page.

Enterprise COBOL is the current release of IBM COBOL.

COBOL II is rather old - between 20 and 25 years old.
Hope this helps,

Hello,

Here is the link to the contents of the COBOL II reference manual. You can look at as many of the items as you are interested in.
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/ ... 1/CONTENTS?
In the Language reference is a summary of changes.

This is the link to the Migration Guide for COBOL II
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/ ... /CCONTENTS?
You may find more useful in the migration guide than in the actual language reference.

As i mnetioned before, most organizations/system have already moved from COBOL II due to the age of the release and that there are 2 newer releases with more functionality to meet today's needs.
Hope this helps,
d.sch.
