hi, friends
I got infos in data divsion as following after compile the COBOL:

10 ws-in-amount pic 9(8). BLW = 00002+6E8, 0000310 8c
can anybody tell me what does it mean "BLW = 00002+6E8, 0000310 8c", thx.

Hello,

BLW is the Base Locator for Working-storage. +6E8 is the displacement from the base locator. 0000310 is the displacement from the start of that level-01. 8C is the length/type (8 characters) of that field.
