The last I heard, TSYS uses IBM mainframes. What kind of "technical aspects" are you looking for? You might use the "Contact Us" link on the web site to request more information.

Hello,

I am looking for some technical aspect and its connection with Mainframe.
Surely TSYS is the place to present your question(s) - which you have not posted here so no one could help even if they had some knowledge . . .

TSYS Started in 1959 as a small division of Columbus Bank and Trust in Columbus, GA.Total Systems (TSYS) became a separately traded company in 1983
Today, TSYS is a subsidiary of Synovus Financial Corporation Serves companies on three continents Maintains operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, Japan, United Kingdom, and Italy. Over 6,000 employees. About 39% of US credit card transactions were processed by TSYS - I think this %age is reduced now. Many clients has opted for in-sourcing.

Disclaimer: I'm not a spoke-person of TSYS, once I was on one of the client-sites for TSYS and this is from memory.
