COBOL Compiler Library

Postby Ketaki » Thu Dec 27, 2012 3:12 pm

Hi All,

I have very limited access to my site as of now. I want to compile a cobol program but for IGYCRCTL, I am not able to locate a library where it will be stored. I believe it will be something IGY.SIGYCOMP. I could not find this library.

We do have endevor at our installation and hence we have not compiled a module outside of endevor. But this time we want to. Can anyone please help me with this?

unfortunately not .
nobody here belong to Your organization,
so we do not know Your system setup ( dataset naming conventions )
Your support knows

But You could also look Yourself at the cobol manuals starting from here
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/ ... index.html
proceeding to
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/ ... books.html
and to
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/ ... ppls2.html

and choosing the bookshelf relative to Your cobol level
cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
