I have 5 years experience in Mainframes (Dev & Testing).
Recently I moved to UK but here I could not found any opportunities on Mainframe Testing.
May I know What is the reason and also Please post if any.or mail to <address expunged]

There is not much of a mainframe market in the UK due to a lot of companies outsourcing to the India and points beyond. I was unemployed (from mainframes at least) for over 4 years despite (or maybe because of) 34+ years experience. Hence the pig farming (and mainframe development in another country).
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

However, there always seem to be testing jobs thrust at me but requiring skills that I do not have. I get mailings from CWJOBS - look up on Google
