Issue while creating ACIF file

Hello,

I have a file in FB format and trying to generate ACIF file thru JCL. But 1st char is getting truncated in output ACIF file. I tried copying input file to FBA format and then ran the job. But in this case, 1st char was getting truncated in input file itself. :(
For temporary salutation, we moved the data by 1 column thru jcl sortcard and in this case values were populating fine in ACIF file.

Coould you plz help me in generating ACIF file without any truncation?

When I "Binged" acif mainframe, I found http://content.solimarsystems.com/pdf/ACIF.pdf
