Input date S9(04) COMP - "27175"
Required output - mmddyyy

Please advise on the SYSIN

What is the format of your input date, is it - yyDDD or something else?

Not to mention SORTIN LRECL and RECFM.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
