Acquire Job Name on Output file Through Sort card

Postby Healy » Sun Jul 20, 2014 10:31 am

I need to get the Job name in my output file that i am creating through a sort card.

Example:

if my Job Card is :
//TSOXYZAB JOB  (034D),"HEALY",PRTY=6,CLASS='A' .. .. . . .. .

i need "TSOXYZAB" to be printed on my output file. Is there any function present in Syncsort that would give me the Job Name that i can use in my OUTREC.

Thank You,
Healy

You need to find out about system symbols.

If you look at this, from the sister site, it may help: http://ibmmainframes.com/about61041.html
